Fossil gas flows invisibly and silently beneath us.
Conducted through huge concrete pipes, the fossil fuel spreads like an eerie ghost into natural gas extraction plants, cultural sponsorships and through leaks into our biosphere.
The video installation Whooshing trough Fossil Tubes gives us an insight into the German natural gas industry through the expressive, visual narrative of a skeleton. Inspected by the shady representations of a demon and a cardboard model building, the story takes us through company headquarters and major construction sites, right up to the entrance area of the Blue Fire Megacoaster rollercoaster, which was sponsored by Nord Stream 2.
