These days, you can find a genre of video on YouTube that centers around jeans as a fetish object. These videos tend to mention jeans‘ name in the title, along with information on materials and places with which the jeans come into intense contact (slime, swimming pool, wallpaper paste, piss, scissors). These videos feature a dual displacement. The actors employ dramatic techniques that distortedly mirror the design methods of so-called used looks. A good example here are ripped jeans. The design variation describes jeans with rips at the knee. In the fetish video, the actor kneels repeatedly, so that the jeans rip, and not only at the knee. Then he pulls at the fabric a bit more.
