A sand dune is located exactly on the former border strip around West Berlin. At its side, until 2009, stood a radio mast for transmitting telephone calls across the GDR. Two loudspeakers squeeze four audio pieces out of the sand into the shimmering afternoon air. The narration leads from a collection of cassettes in the basement to the demolition of the radio mast into the airspace above the former border. Hidden away in the pine forest, a voice speaks of the scars of resin extraction. When resin, steel and magnetic tape, once eradicated from the landscape, return of their own volition, the archival survey turns into a haunted story.
